NKF Kidney Ball 2023 Logo

The Kidney Ball is a yearly event put on by the National Kidney Foundation, and one of the largest galas nationwide raising awareness and funds to support the 37 million Americans with chronic kidney disease.

NKF continually strives to better the lives of millions of people each year by working to:

  • Advance early detection and awareness of kidney disease
  • Improve quality of life by removing barriers to home dialysis
  • Improve access and eligibility to transplant
  • Fuel tomorrow’s treatment breakthroughs with research and advocacy.

Join us in this work (and have a good time!) today.

Our Mission

The National Kidney Foundation is revolutionizing the fight to save lives by eliminating preventable kidney disease, accelerating innovation for the dignity of the patient experience, and dismantling structural inequities in kidney care, dialysis, and transplantation.

“The National Capital Area has one of the highest rates of kidney disease in the nation, but the National Kidney Foundation is fighting the epidemic every day with innovative programs, advocacy, and community engagement. Together, with your support, we are helping our friends, family, and neighbors live better lives.”
