Now in its 43rd year, the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Ball is one of the nation’s largest fundraising galas in support of the fight against kidney disease, raising more than $5 million in the past decade. The Kidney Ball shines the spotlight on this national health crisis that impacts 1 in every 7 Americans and serves as a call to action for the community to engage in spreading awareness and assisting those in need.
Kidney Ball attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception, elegant three course dinner, robust silent auction, inspiring mission appeal & award ceremony, live entertainment, and networking with some of the National Capital Area’s top business, government, and medical leaders, as well as kidney patients and their families.
The National Capital region has among the highest rates of kidney disease in the nation. Your support helps fund the National Kidney Foundation’s ongoing programs in research, patient and community services, professional and public education, local, state, and federal advocacy, and raising awareness about organ donation and transplantation.
Hilton McLean Tyson’s Corner
As a college student in 2008, Stacey Warr was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and over the next decade her health kept deteriorating. It wasn’t until 2019 that she was finally diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease. Stacey will be sharing her story at the Kidney Ball, and highlighting her efforts with NKF to help the community and primary care physicians better recognize the early warning signs of kidney disease.
For almost a decade, Felix Pickles has been a rocking three-piece band based out of Loudoun County, wowing crowds and making new friends at every show. The band covers artists like Willie Nelson, 21 Pilots, The Black Keys, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, Radiohead, Billie Eilish, The Interupters, Tom Petty, and more. They are sure to get the dance floor rocking at the 43rd Annual Kidney Ball!
